The Client (Cervus Equipment/Brandt)
Cervus Equipment is one of Canada’s leading John Deere equipment dealerships, operating locations across Western Canada. Our relationship began after Cervus acquired several AR Williams locations in Alberta that had been using On Air’s message on hold services for years.
The Challenge
Following the acquisition, Cervus wanted to create a consistent caller experience across all of its locations while consolidating multiple accounts into one national program. Each dealership had different phone systems and on-hold equipment, making it difficult to deliver standardized messaging across the organization.
As Cervus continued to grow through additional acquisitions, each new location brought its own technology, processes, and installation requirements.
The Solution
After hearing positive feedback from the previous owners about their experience with On Air, Cervus chose to transition from their existing provider and partner with us.
Working closely with their Marketing team, we developed a consistent branded message on hold program for every location. We assessed each dealership’s phone system and provided audio in the format required, whether that meant digital audio files or legacy media for older systems.
As the company expanded, we evaluated each newly acquired location’s phone setup, recommended the best on-hold solution, and coordinated installations directly with their
telecom provider, Prime Communications, ensuring every location delivered the same professional caller experience.
When Cervus was acquired by Brandt in 2022, the team once again recommended On Air. We worked alongside Brandt to quickly develop new branded messaging and coordinated the rollout to all 34 locations, providing follow-up support to confirm every site was successfully updated.
The Result
Over more than a decade, On Air became a trusted partner throughout Cervus’ growth and multiple acquisitions. By combining technical expertise, responsive service, and careful project coordination, we helped maintain a consistent brand experience for callers across dozens of locations and changing technologies.
The relationship was built on trust, reliability, and making complex transitions simple—qualities that led to repeat recommendations through multiple ownership changes.
